Jojoba Essential lotions take advantage of jojoba being the premium carrier of essential oils.  They consist of 100% cold pressed jojoba to which carefully selected essential oils have been added and are excellent shaving aids, massage oils and bath oils.  They can also be used as naturally perfumed skin moisturisers.  The essential oils selected have valuable aromatherapy properties and some have extra anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Jojoba Essential lotions are completely natural products with all plant based ingredients.  They take advantage of jojoba being a premium carrier of essential oils.  No fixatives or artificial preservatives are used, and as a result the essential oils will evaporate as they are warmed by the skin.  This means the fragrance is not as long lasting as it is with most perfumes, which can contain alcohols, fixatives and preservatives, but it also means no artificial chemicals on your skin.

Jojoba Essential lotions have a long shelf life at room temperatures.  They are packaged in dark green glass bottles to protect the essential oils from sunlight.  As it is easy to use more than you need, the bottles have a pump to restrict flow.

Jojoba Essential as a bath oil

Jojoba Essential products make very effective bath oils.  Adding a few drops to the bath water really makes a difference to how your skin feels after it has been dried, as well as promoting relaxation while bathing.  Try a few drops of Jojoba Essential Lavender in your child’s bath before bedtime.  Jojoba Essential does not contain an emulsifier so it may be necessary to wipe a small amount of oil from the bath after the water has been discarded.  Lack of an emulsifier is in keeping with our philosophy of “no added chemicals”.  The water can be safely recycled on the garden.
